What Color Hose to Wear With Royal Blue Dress

What color tights and shoes should I wear with blue dress?    Forum -> Fashion and Beauty View latest: 24h 48h 72h amother Bisque Wed, Nov 01 2017, 10:22 am I have a velvet navy dress. Normally I would wear pantyhose and blue or beige shoes, but since it's the winter, I need to wear tights. I can't wear beige shoes in winter (even if I could, I can't wear blue tights with beige shoes). And blue dress, blue tights and blue shoes is a little too blue-y, no? Any advice on this extremely important matter? Sheer is far more elegant then opaque. look at the bloomingdales link I posted above. those come in grey and black. you can also get navy in other companies. For years that's all I wore when dressing up although more recently I started liking black opaque better. Also, you can find dressy boots but may be difficult to find a pair that goes with the dress. With the right shades, all navy can look very elegant. But once you have the shoes you'll know more and you may opt for different tights or pantyhose. Maybe you'll find elegant navy shoes with another color incorporated in the shoes as well, and that could be enough of a contrast for you. If you wear opaque black tights with heels, as I see many women doing, I think you look like a little girl dressing up in her Mommy's shoes. KWIM? With flats, opaque tights are fine.
